Birth Doula Services
When my husband and I decided to hire a doula for our first baby's birth, I already had Steph in mind because of a great review a mutual friend of ours had given her.
When we met in person, my gut feeling was confirmed and we clicked instantly. Stephanie was patient with answering all of our questions and concerns and was very thorough in explaining how she would support us during this process. Stephanie was available for questions pre and post birth and always had a calm and encouraging message for us. During our birth, she was a strong, calming and grounding force for us. Our birth “plan” didn’t go as expected {shocker ;)} and we ended up transferring from our Birth Center to hospital because I was exhausted and baby still hadn’t positioned herself well. Stephanie was with us at our home, at the Birth Center and at the hospital reassuring us and communicating with our family, something that was a huge help. She was with us for around 18 hours, something that today still amazes me! We are both grateful for Stephanie’s support, guidance and commitment during our birthing experience. Thanks to her, and the rest of our birthing team, we were still able to have the birth we wanted, even though the location was different.

It’s so hard to describe in words what you did for us. I still can’t believe you stayed with us for so long being pregnant with the twins. That is INCREDIBLE. It shows your dedication and love for what you do. I also will always be humbled and impressed with how you listened to your body when you told us you needed Christina. I always think about that when I’m in a situation when I need to remember to put my oxygen mask on first. You are an inspiration and I know we crossed paths for something amazing.
