Located in both Lakeland and Woodbury Minnesota, DelMonico Dance has been dedicated to creating a community that comes together under one roof to dance, work-out and have fun. Founded in 2010, under the direction of Kim DelMonico, DelMonico Dance has represented one of Lakeland’s and Woodbury’s most proficient dance studios, offering comprehensive dance programs for youth ages 3 to 18, and an accelerated training program for young dancers interested in our Dance Competition Companies.
Mission Statement
The mission of DelMonico Dance is to enrich the lives of children through the art and expression of dance with an emphasis on proper technique. Students will be provided a safe and nurturing atmosphere that challenges them to strive for personal excellence through the development of skills, confidence, and personal style. The students will develop a sense of teamwork and be able to foster relationships that will last a lifetime. Through these relationships, students will grow by encouraging each other to achieve their personal best. At DelMonico Dance, we want our dancers to create memories here that surpasses the number of trophies they win. Teachers will be encouraged to further their education and skills by taking classes and attending workshops. It is the commitment of DelMonico Dance to operate with honesty and integrity; to build cohesive relationships as a “dance family”, and to offer quality instruction. Every child has a talent and we desire that each child be able to share their passion with others in the classroom and through performance.

Our dance instructors come from a wide and diverse range of backgrounds and performance experience in the dance genres they teach and offer up some of the most incredible choreography.

DelMonico Dance is a performance based studio that focuses on technique, fundamentals, competition and most importantly, on your child’s growth and development.
Grand Opening & New Location
In November of 2019, Delmonico opened a brand new studio in Lakeland, and it is a beautiful space! Take a couple minutes to watch the video below from their Grand Opening. However, recreational classes are still also offered at the Woodbury location.

Our Experience
Our kids have been going to DelMonico for 6 months now, and they look forward to class every week! They are now preparing for their upcoming recital in June, and I just can’t wait! In class they learn how to follow directions, healthy discipline, how to conquer fears, how to continue when things get tough, and most importantly, they have A LOT of fun! We have seen so much improvement, especially in McKenzie’s dance skills and confidence. For us and for Delmonico, it is so much more than dance!
As a mom of three, it was important to me that the studio we picked had a fun approach, that the cost was reasonable, that the commitment level was appropriate, and that the classes for all three kids were conveniently on the same day! Delmonico Dance has met and exceeded all my hopes.
Kim, Bella, Hailey, and the rest of the staff have been nothing but amazing to me and my kiddos. We have even asked their teacher, Hailey if she would babysit because the kids love her so much!
