We’re here today to tell you some of our favorite tips and tricks to make your weeks a little easier! At How 2 Mom, we believe in Sunday Prep Day! By using your time wisely, you can accomplish several tasks that will make the week run SO much smoother!
Make a Weekly Meal Plan
Whether you choose to plan out breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or just the evening meals, having at least some of your meals planned ahead of time takes the stress of figuring out what everyone is going to eat. There is nothing worse than coming home from a long day, wrangling the kiddos, and scrambling to pull something semi-healthy together before melt-down time!

Wash All Family Sheets
This is such a nice way to start off the week feeling refreshed! Having a cozy and clean bed to climb into not only for yourself, but your loved ones too, can be a small but positive way to begin your week. Here is the non-toxic detergent we use in our house! Plan Outfits
Another fairly easy task to accomplish that can make all the difference! Having outfits planned ahead makes for one less task each morning when you may already feel rushed getting ready and out the door. We have been doing this for years and it has settled a lot of rushing and yelling in the mornings! Every Sunday night my daughter picks out all five of her outfits for the week, including accessories and shoes! This way, there is no time wasted deciding on what she feels like wearing that day! We look at the schedule, we know what is coming up and we plan our outfits! We also use a sweater organizer in her closet to nicely place an outfit for each day. The organizer is linked below!
Check your Schedule
Look ahead! Double check and make sure everything is listed out on a calendar so that you are prepared for any appointments, meetings, coffee dates, etc. Sometimes life moves quickly and things can catch up on you! Refreshing your mind with plans for the coming week can really help you feel more prepared and relaxed, even if it is looking like a busy week! Do a "Mind Dump"
This can help you feel clear headed and have a great mindset for the week ahead. Write down any goals for the week on a piece of paper, or our favorite planner linked below. Include things you just reviewed on your weekly calendar. Make notes of any chores and tasks you have been meaning to catch up on! Anything! Having things laid out in front of you rather than just boggling your brain can really help!
