Water Park & Fun
If you are local to the Twin Cities, I’m sure you have heard of The Great Wolf Lodge Water Park. If not, it is located in Bloomington, right by Mall of America. It is a great time for the entire family with a large in-door water park and other attractions like bowling, arcade room, mining, and more!
In 2019 my family started a tradition gifting experiences for Christmas vs things, and it’s been the best thing ever. Today we are sharing our fun 2023 experience at Great Wolf Lodge!
Hotel & Dining
The Great Wolf Lodge has amazing hotel accommodations and plenty of dining options. We reserve a corner suite giving us plenty of space for sleep, multiple bathrooms, and space for snacks and food!
There is a nice restaurant, Campfire Kitchen open for dinner which comes with a fun experience. A, pizza place, Hungry As A Wolf open for lunch or dinner on the 2nd floor next to the bowling alley. Your classic favorites inside the waterpark, Buckets. A Market with sandwiches, Dunkin Donuts, A Ice Cream Creamery, and a couple of bar options, inside the waterpark and out.
Attraction Passes
You have the fun option of upgrading your stay with 3 different levels of attraction passes for the kids. It’s a great way to experience all the extra attractions while saving money! This pass included a Wand and the MagiQuest Adventure, Howler’s Peak Ropes Course, Oliver’s Mining Co. Experience, Climb admission to Rustic Ridge Climbing Wall, One game of bowling at Ten Paw Alley, $5 to Northern Lights Arcade, a small candy cup from Great Wolf Lodge Candy Shop, and one Single Scoop of Ice Cream from Ben & Jerry’s. Freebies
The hotel and its staff does a great job at providing lots of fun and free entertainment for the kids and entire family. Everyday there is a schedule with some great options like Character Appearances, Arts and Crafts, Storytime and Dance Parties!
Splashin Cabana Fun
Most of our hours were spent at the Waterpark. There is an option to rent a Cabana which guarantees plenty of chairs and room for your party. The Cabana also includes a locked safe for your belongings and a television and fridge.
Regardless, the Waterpark will provide endless hours of entertainment for you and your family with a handful of waterslides, a wave pool, lazy river, and a fun and interactive fort for all ages.
