Hey there Mamas!...
Today we’re here to have a brief conversation about “Mom Judging”. As mothers, it’s ingrained in us to provide the best possible life we can for our children. This can take about a million different shapes or forms; whether that be working from home or at an office (full or part-time), never say “no” to our children vs using firm discipline from the start; motherhood can take so many different paths.
Often times, we seem to feel the need to “sugar coat” it. Do you ever feel this way?? For example, feeling the need to always preface a complaint about motherhood with something such as, “the are absolutely adorable and have the sweetest hearts but…” We’ve been there. And you know what? A lot of times other moms are feeling the SAME frustrations as you! Why is it that we as moms feel the need to give a disclaimer before venting?
Is it really because other moms will judge our feelings and/or behavior?
OR
Are we just ASSUMING they will judge us?

Today's Tip:
Find your "Mom Tribe"
Finding a friend or colleague who you can open up to and vent to without any hesitation is so liberating. We encourage you to seek out that person or persons! Find your crew! Sometimes it makes us a better mom once we have had a chance to “cry it out” with a dear friend and feel like we’re not alone on this journey! Having a safe person or group to vent to is so necessary for mom’s mental health!
At How 2 Mom, we are a community here to support you and tell you that you’ve got this! You are not alone! We’re all human and How 2 Mom is a safe place for YOU to communicate any difficulties, trials, or tribulations you find along the walk of motherhood.
