Every Sunday, I log into my Mindful Menu App and review what's on the menu. I select the recipes I want to make either from what they have on the menu that week, previous weeks, or from my Favorites list. I love that I can customize each week depending on our schedule. Sometimes I plan for 3 meals, and some weeks 5-7. There is never a shortage of options. Then, and this is the best part, the app automatically creates a shopping list for me to follow. It will include every ingredient, but if I don't need an item, I just simple cross it off the list. There is also a section where you can add additional items. So not only does the app create the meals, but they make shopping and preparation incredibly easy.

One of the things I love most about this company is their team! The founders are a group of like-minded women who love food, wellness and getting dinner on the table fuss free. Hack #2 - Grocery Delivery
My next step on Sunday nights is to then take my shopping list that Mindful Menu so graciously put together for me, and place my grocery order ONLINE. Seriously you guys, this is a LIFESAVER when you have little kids. Bringing three kids to any store, let alone a grocery store is just not fun! This way it takes me a whole 10 minutes vs 2 hours to get all of my groceries for the entire week, and sometimes even diapers and wipes. I purchase all of my other monthly consumables online as well, but from a Health and Wellness store.
I either chose delivery for that night or the next morning depending on our needs and schedule from one of these two companies. They shop at different stores, depending on your area. I currently use Shipt for HyVee and Target and Instacart for Aldi, because everyone knows I love me some Aldi!!!
