When I was younger, I used to measure my health by the number on the scale and how I looked physically.
So much has changed since then and I think it’s about time we start sharing our journeys in hopes that it may educate and inspire someone who may be looking to get healthy, from the inside out. It’s been quite the journey but I’m so thankful for the changes my family has made and I can confidently say I’m doing my best not only for myself but for my children and our environment.
After taking a good look at the foods and products we had in our home, we began our research and became educated about what harm we were causing and the symptoms we were experiencing. We detoxified our home, started practicing healthier habits, purchasing healthier foods and introducing safer consumable products into our everyday life. This change made me more conscious of everything, including what we were putting on our skin, and the vitamins and supplements we are using to help fuel our bodies.
Living a healthy and well-balanced life is a constant journey, but I love it! It’s refreshing to know that wellness is achievable and affordable for the whole household.
